Wind-Up Doll Screw Top Flat Back Labret

This externally threaded flat back labret can be used for most 16 gauge (1.2mm) piercings including tragus, lip, cartilage, helix, labret, monroe etc.

Gauge Size: Standard 16G (1.2mm).

Materials: 316L Surgical Steel with an optional gold or black titanium ion plated finish.

Length: Your choice between 1/4" (6mm), 5/16" (8mm), or 3/8" (10mm).

Please avoid wearing any body jewelry with a colored finish/plating, including this labret, if you have had a prior allergic reaction to plated jewelry or are hypersensitive to non-hypoallergenic metals.

If you need a hypoallergenic alternative, we recommend this design in plain 316L surgical steel without a colored finish.

Plated Jewelry Care Instructions:

• In order to keep your ion plated jewelry looking like new, do not boil the jewelry or use rubbing alcohol or saline to sanitize them, because these methods can damage the finish.

• To sanitize the jewelry before insertion, please use *only* warm water and antibacterial soap.

• Avoid direct contact with perfumes, body lotion, and any other alcohol based products including mouthwash, or anything abrasive that can damage the finish. 

• You should periodically take out your piercing jewelry and very gently scrub the threading with warm water and antibacterial soap to prevent any build up and to keep your piercing free from contaminants, etc.

• Wipe the jewelry with a soft cloth to clean it after use.

Always be very gentle with your labret when you are twisting on the head, so that you do not accidentally strip the threading by over-tightening it.

If you continue twisting the head past the point where it reaches a soft, natural stopping place at the end of its threading, you will likely strip the threading and damage your jewelry.

With that being said, all kinds of body jewelry with threading do naturally loosen with daily wear and body movement, especially facial piercings. In order to prevent the labret top from becoming lost, you must regularly and *very gently* tighten it as needed.
