Materials: 316L surgical steel externally threaded barbell with an optional colored titanium ion plated finish and 5mm natural amethyst stone balls.

Gauge Size: Standard 14G (1.6mm)

Bar Length: Choose between 1-1/4" (32mm), 1-3/8" (35mm) or 1-1/2" (38mm).

The standard length for industrial/scaffold piercings is 1-1/2" (38mm).

Please avoid wearing any body jewelry with a colored finish/plating, including this barbell, if you have had a prior allergic reaction to plated jewelry or are hypersensitive to non-hypoallergenic metals.

If you need a hypoallergenic option, we recommend this design in plain surgical steel without a colored finish or solid/pure implant-grade titanium which we also offer in our shop.

Plated Jewelry Care Instructions:

• In order to keep your ion plated jewelry looking like new, do not boil the jewelry or use rubbing alcohol or saline to sanitize them, because these methods can damage the finish.

• To sanitize the jewelry before insertion, please use *only* warm water and antibacterial soap.

• Avoid direct contact with perfumes, body lotion, and any other alcohol based products including mouth wash, or anything abrasive that can damage the finish. 

• You should periodically take out your piercing jewelry and very gently scrub the threading with warm water and antibacterial soap to prevent any build up and to keep your piercing free from contaminants, etc.

• Wipe the jewelry with a soft cloth to clean it after use.

Always be gentle with your barbell when you are twisting on the natural stone balls, so that you do not accidentally strip the threading by over-tightening them. If you continue twisting the stone balls past the point where they reach a soft, natural stopping place at the end of their threading, you will most likely dislodge them and damage your jewelry. 

With that being said, all kinds of body jewelry with threading do naturally loosen with daily wear and body movement. In order to prevent the stone balls from becoming lost, you should regularly and *very gently* tighten them as needed.
