Dalmatian Jasper Natural Stone Black Titanium Ion Plated CBR Ring

Gauge Size: 16G (1.2mm) or 14G (1.6mm). Please note that 16G is THINNER, and much more commonly used than 14G.

These rings can be used for most 16G and 14G piercings including septum, cartilage, daith, nipple, lip, belly, etc.

Materials: 316L surgical steel CBR with a black titanium ion plated finish and a 4mm natural stone bead.

Diameter: Your choice between 5/16" (8mm), 3/8" (10mm) or 1/2" (12mm).

Everyone's piercing needs are unique, however if you are going to use this ring for your septum piercing, generally the 5/16" (8mm) diameter will provide a petite/snug fit against your septum, while 3/8" (10mm) provides a more standard/traditional fit.

Please avoid wearing any body jewelry with a colored finish/plating, including this CBR, if you have had a prior allergic reaction to plated jewelry or are hypersensitive to non-hypoallergenic metals.

If you need a hypoallergenic alternative, we recommend this design in plain 316L surgical steel without a colored finish, or pure implant grade titanium.

Plated Jewelry Care Instructions:

• In order to keep your ion plated jewelry looking like new, please remove the jewelry before bathing, showering, swimming or participating in physical activity.
• Keep the jewelry away from moisture and do not immerse the jewelry in water.
• Avoid direct contact with perfumes, body lotion, or other chemicals that can damage the finish.
• Wipe the jewelry with a soft cloth to clean it after use.

To sanitize the jewelry before insertion, please use only warm water and antibacterial soap. Make sure to dry the jewelry after sanitizing. Do not boil the jewelry or use rubbing alcohol or saline, because these methods can damage the finish.

These rings work like a traditional Captive Bead Ring (CBR) piercing; the natural stone bead snaps into place on the ring.

Please note that 14g (1.6mm) rings are thicker than standard 16g (1.2mm) rings. Unlike 16g rings, 14g rings may require the use of jewelry pliers to open and close the ring, particularly in the smaller diameter sizes such as 8mm and 10mm.
