Extra Long Spike 16G or 14G Solid 316L Surgical Steel Flat Back Labret

Gauge Size: 16G (1.2mm) or 14G (1.6mm). 
**Please note that 16G is THINNER, and much more commonly used than 14G for lip piercings and helix piercings.**

Flatback Bar Length: 1/4" (6mm), 5/16" (8mm), 3/8" (10mm), 1/2" (12mm).

Spike Length: 1/2" (12mm).

Materials: Hypoallergenic 100% 316L surgical steel externally threaded flatback bar and spike.

**Please note the flatback on the 16G will be slightly smaller than the wider 14G flatback as shown in photos**

Always be very gentle with your labret when you are twisting on the spike, so that you do not accidentally strip the threading by over-tightening it.

If you continue twisting the spike past the point where it reaches a soft, natural stopping place at the end of its threading, you will likely strip the threading and damage your jewelry.

With that being said, all kinds of body jewelry with threading do naturally loosen with daily wear and body movement. In order to prevent the spike from becoming lost, you must regularly and *very gently* tighten it as needed.
