Solid 316L Surgical Steel Frog Toad Tongue Ring

Gauge Size: Standard 14G (1.6mm)

Bar Length: Choose between 1/2" (12mm), 9/16" (14mm), 5/8" (16mm) or 3/4" (19mm). The standard length for tongue piercings is 5/8" (16mm).

Materials: Hypoallergenic 100% Implant Grade stainless steel (externally threaded) bar and ball, and a steel casted frog top. This piece is completely waterproof and a great choice for everyday wear!

***The frog itself measures 8mm x 9mm x 3mm. It is a bit larger than standard size tongue ring balls, so please consider the size of the frog before ordering.***

The casting process helps make the steel stronger and more durable. Each barbell is crafted from 316L ASTM F-138 Implant Grade Stainless Steel.

Always be gentle with your barbell when you are twisting on the frog and ball ending, so that you do not accidentally strip the threading by over-tightening them. If you continue twisting the frog or ball past the point where they reach a soft, natural stopping place at the end of their threading, you will most likely dislodge them and damage your jewelry.

With that being said, all kinds of body jewelry with threading do naturally loosen with daily wear and body movement. In order to prevent the frog and ball from becoming lost, you should regularly and *very gently* tighten them as needed.
